Clickfunnels For Online Courses

Can ClickFunnels host an online course?

Yes, ClickFunnels allows you to build membership areas to host online courses!

Even though ClickFunnels is heavily focused on helping entrepreneurs get their message out to the world by selling products through sales funnels, they still have an amazing membership site builder.

In fact, one of ClickFunnels’ co-founders, Russell Brunson, wrote an entire book on how to sell your expertise online!

And he uses ClickFunnel membership areas for all of his courses.

On top of that, you can build dynamic email follow up sequences to send different messages to different leads, so you can improve conversions rates for your online courses!

Which is better Kajabi or ClickFunnels?

With the launch of ClickFunnels 2.0, ClickFunnels now has the ability to build blogs, websites, membership areas and sales funnels.

All of these are also features that Kajabi has and does fairly well.

So what’s the difference between ClickFunnels and Kajabi?

Really it comes down to where each software started.

When Kajabi originally came out, it was only focused on building membership areas for hosting courses, so that’s what it does at a world-class level.

Everything else it does is good, and continually getting better, but at its core it is a course hosting platform.

ClickFunnels started from a different direction.

As its name implies, ClickFunnels started as a sales funnel building software.

So even though it has all of these other features now that are great, it is still at its core a sales funnel software.

ClickFunnels also has FunnelFlix, which is its education platform that is focused on bringing you the best trainings from around the internet to help you become a better marketer.

Where I see people struggle the most when trying to sell online courses is the actual selling part.

They learn how to set everything up and know how to teach it to their audience, but struggle on the selling side.

It doesn’t matter how amazing your course is or how many people it can help, if you can’t present its value in a way that shows someone it’s worth buying, your business will eventually fail.

Because of this, I believe that ClickFunnels is the better option because they have more resources for online course creators to learn how to sell their products and at its core ClickFunnels is focused on sales funnels.

Can you sell a course with ClickFunnels?

Yes, you can sell a course with ClickFunnels.

This is the heart of what ClickFunnels was built around, selling online with sales funnels.

The biggest problem I see people have when they’re trying to sell their online course is that they don’t know how to sell online.

They spent all of their time and energy building their course and how to get it set up in a way that’s easy to deliver and gets people results…

But then they launch it and don’t have any customers.

Most of the time they think it has something to do with the quality of their course, but that’s usually not what it is.

Usually it’s just that they don’t know how to sell it well!

That’s why having sales funnels is so important.

Sales funnels help you to sell more of your product you spent so much time building.

On top of that, you can use your sales funnels to upsell other complimentary products with your courses to increase your average order value.

How do I create a sales funnel to sell online courses?

Assuming you already have your course completed and know who your target audience is, then the first step is deciding what type of funnel you want to use.

There’s 2 main funnels that I would suggest for selling an online course: the Self-Liquidating Offer Funnel and the Webinar funnel.

Which one is a better fit for your course really comes down to the price of your course.

If your course is over $500, then a webinar funnel is probably the better fit.

Anything that costs less than that and you can probably get away with using a SLO funnel.

If you have multiple online courses, you can also use different types of funnels and have some of your courses as upsells to other courses!

Surprisingly, building the sales funnel itself is one of the easier parts of the process.

Both the webinar funnel and the SLO funnel are fairly straight forward in funnel structure, so they won’t take very long to put together.

The more time consuming part is the actual messaging and sales copy that goes into the funnel.

For the Webinar funnel most of this comes from the script you use for the webinar itself, because that’s what ultimately sells your course.

(If you want help writing your webinar, you can grab a proven script HERE)

In an SLO funnel it’s going to come down to how you script your sales page.

To build your funnel, it’s easiest to use a dedicated sales funnel building software.

Most of these are just drag and drop, so it’s very easy to put a funnel together.

Or you can even find funnel templates to make the process faster!
